Dave Veenstra RMT
I’m David Veenstra, a Registered Massage Therapist. I’ve been treating for close to 20 years, helping active individuals like yourself stay outside, where they want to be. I’ve been out there myself for as long as I can remember; competitive volleyball, amateur body building, biking across Canada, lake swimming and most recently, crossfit. Ironman’s on my bucket list. My main focus is in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage and take seriously your passion to move!
Testimonial: “The weekend of my first massage with him, I ended up having the fastest bike split by almost a minute and a half in the North Shore Sprint. After that I was sold. I went to see Dave the week before every race last season and also saw him after my big training weekends. Aside from giving a really good sport specific massage, I have also found Dave to be a very useful source of information. I’ve asked him about how to deal with different aches and pains and he was always able to provide me with some great insight and methods on how to address them.” ~ Dylan Gleeson | Triathlete “He consistently asked for feedback on the pressure. He asked appropriate questions, gave advice that fell within his knowledge parameters and delivered a perfect massage which achieved the goal I had for it. He did more listening than talking and when he spoke, he spoke about things he was qualified to speak about. He did the exact job he was hired for. Bravo.” ~ Meyrick Jones | ParaTriathlete, ParaCyclist, and Para Nordic athlete.

Connor Son RMT
Connor has always been deeply curious and fascinated about the healing arts and particularly about connective tissue (aka fascia). He has learned extensively about the interconnectivity of a being’s overall alignment and nervous system.
Connor also puts tremendous emphasis on the active healing value of functional movements that support neurological rewiring which can assist in healing the body/mind connection.
Connor dove not only into the therapist’s realm of learning different modalities such as Structural Integration, Fascial Stretch Therapy, Neurokinetic Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Block Therapy and Fluid Isometrics (as a therapist) but he also explored many different integrated movement systems himself through karate, kung fu, pilates, yoga, animal flow, FRC and cross fit. He is an example of a dedicated athlete who has examined movement patterns in his own life.
His goal is to bring that experience to his Registered Massage Therapy practice specifically by creating space in the fascia, inflating space with proper diaphragmatic breath and maintaining space through integrated movement systems.
Connor also understands the importance of bringing awareness of posture and breath, which tie directly into our nervous systems’ health. He likes to get to the root cause of the problem by treating areas that often don’t get attention – the front and sides of the body (ie the ribs and diaphragm), which often help the back of the body to release.
Connor graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto. He has provided massage therapy in the 2016 Olympic Trials Sports massage therapy to the Richmond Rapid Men’s National Swim Team in 2016 – 2017.
Some of his certifications include:
Craniosacral Therapy, Chapman’s Reflexes, Neurokinetic Therapy Level 1, Fluid Isometrics, Block Therapy, Adaptive Bodywork Structural Integration, Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 1, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IAST) and Kinesiology Taping.
