Dave Veenstra RMT
I’m David Veenstra, a Registered Massage Therapist. I’ve been treating for close to 20 years, helping active individuals like yourself stay outside, where they want to be. I’ve been out there myself for as long as I can remember; competitive volleyball, amateur body building, biking across Canada, lake swimming and most recently, crossfit. Ironman’s on my bucket list. My main focus is in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage and take seriously your passion to move!
Testimonial: “The weekend of my first massage with him, I ended up having the fastest bike split by almost a minute and a half in the North Shore Sprint. After that I was sold. I went to see Dave the week before every race last season and also saw him after my big training weekends. Aside from giving a really good sport specific massage, I have also found Dave to be a very useful source of information. I’ve asked him about how to deal with different aches and pains and he was always able to provide me with some great insight and methods on how to address them.” ~ Dylan Gleeson | Triathlete “He consistently asked for feedback on the pressure. He asked appropriate questions, gave advice that fell within his knowledge parameters and delivered a perfect massage which achieved the goal I had for it. He did more listening than talking and when he spoke, he spoke about things he was qualified to speak about. He did the exact job he was hired for. Bravo.” ~ Meyrick Jones | ParaTriathlete, ParaCyclist, and Para Nordic athlete.

I work with busy parents, athletes, and driven professionals who have tried everything for their chronic pain or injuries — and nothing has truly worked.
If you’re exhausted from cycling through physios, RMTs, and practitioners who treat symptoms but never address the root cause — and you’re ready for focused, intentional care from someone committed to getting it right — I’m your guy.
For over 10 years, I’ve helped people who were told their pain was “chronic,” “complex,” or just part of getting older.
I didn’t accept that.
Even as a Registered Massage Therapist, I pushed beyond the scope of standard practice. I dove into neuro-psycho-somatic dynamics and neurophysiology to understand how trauma — especially subconscious trauma — becomes stored in the fascia and nervous system, creating chronic tension and persistent pain.
I became more interested in why instead of just what.
Pain isn’t random.
It’s compensatory.
Structural.
Protective.
And most practitioners never look deep enough.
To be blunt, much of modern healthcare manages pain without resolving it. In many cases, the system becomes part of the problem.
Seeing that clearly changed everything for me.
It became a calling — to go deeper and address the root of what the body is actually protecting.
When my own pain wouldn’t fully resolve, I became obsessed with fascia — the connective tissue system that shapes our structure, movement patterns, and even our unspoken stress. Our fascia became ‘Frozen’ in modern day of ‘Unconscious living’
That changed everything.
I’ve lived not only as a devoted clinician, but as an athlete through martial arts, CrossFit, yoga, and Pilates. I rebuilt my own body from compensation to coherence.
Now I help others do the same.
My goal is simple:
To help you rebuild your body so you can feel strong, calm, and good again — without constantly managing pain.
With respect,
Connor Son, RMT
